Definition of GhostWriter
As a writer, one thing you might be interested in is
becoming a ghostwriter. But what does a ghostwriter do? And what kinds of
ghostwriting jobs are there?
Ghost Writers, also known as Ghost Book Writers.
You saw it online and you're interested in wanting to be a
ghostwriter, but you're not sure what it is, how to write this way, how much
money you can make ghost writing, and if it's a real way to make a living
writing.
As a professional writer for a few years now, I have had a
few ghost book writing clients. They were all influencers in their industry or
small business owners who wanted to start a blog on their business site.
Let me tell you right now that what is charged for the
ghostwriting you see online can be quite varied. Being a ghostwriter
generally means that you can charge for that type of writing much more than
your signed content or content where you appear as the author.
But freelance platforms take advantage of varying fees and
brand a ghostwriter as a poorly paid writer.
This is not true on my part.
So, if you want to be a ghostwriter who actually makes
decent money, there are a number of qualities that you absolutely need to be an
effective ghostwriter and profitable ghostwriter.
Let's first see what a ghostwriter
is and does and then let's see how to become one!
What is a Ghostwriter?
A ghost book writer is someone who
writes texts such as articles, speeches, books, blog posts, email newsletters,
web texts, songs, product info, etc. and that work is not credited to him.
The credit is for your client or
someone from that company or business that hired you.
The definition of a ghostwriter
states that none of your work is credited to you. This means that you cannot
publicly share this work anywhere (unless your client gives you permission).
You may be thinking: But how can I
build my business without testing?
I'll share it with you in a
moment!!
Understand first that the writing
you do for a ghost book writing
client will never have your name on it. Because of this, it is known that you
can rate your ghostwriting services much higher (some writers rate is 100%
higher) than your standard rate per line (credited to you).
Personally, I don't raise my rates
too much for my ghostwriting clients, as most of them are already my clients!
Anyone can hire ghost book writers. If you have the
budget and need multiple creative ghost book writers, then you can hire one.
Anyone from authors to business owners to professors to individual
entrepreneurs - the need is there.
It could also be called a ghost
blogger. Ghost blogs serve the same function as ghostwriters: You write content
for someone else and they credit the writing, wow, the copywriting of a
lifetime.
Many bloggers hire ghostbloggers
for their ghostwriting content on their blog.
